I was sorry to hear of Julie's death. Julie was a good friend of my Mother, Doris (Moore) Murphy. She was my mother's bridesmaid. My Mother introduced her to Jim Harrity. The last time I saw Julie was this past August ,when my Mom, my cousin Janet (Harrity) Murphy and I went to Lilly Lake for lunch. I also saw her the summer before. I made sure I sent her a Christmas card this year so I wouldn't be on her "shit list".I loved her sense of humor. I will miss her. I am thinking of you. I was away, so I am late sending my condolences. Joy Moore

Julie was my aunt, the wife of my father, Michael's, youngest brother, Jim. I met her when I was maybe 12 years old and my family had dropped by on a day trip from Fredericton. Julie immediately went to the stove and began preparing a meal for us. I guess typical of her. I was quite impressed that she reached out to make us feel at home. Our families were never close, really, but, on their behalf, I wish to extend our sincerest regards. May she rest in peace. Judy Harrity

I only know Julie from some of her children and grandchildren, but appreciating the enormous influence she has had and the admiration in which she is held I would just say that she is my vision of an exceptional mother and grandmother, the nice lady who always kept us warm and happy and fed us lots of fudge and cookies. She, through the story of her life, has rekindled my own fond memories of wonderful women who influenced and enriched my life and the lives of all those around them. They are the foundation of our world. For all those missing Julie, I can just offer that her influence has been so profound that she will never be very far away.
