Obituary of Aline Robichaud
Robichaud, Aline Marie (Maillet) Passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born on January 13, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Fidèle and Emma (Daigle) Maillet. Loving wife of the late Jean Louis Robichaud. Aline was an avid quilter and embroiderer. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Yvon (Lucie), of Montreal, Quebec, Jean-Paul (Linda), of Chance Harbour, NB, Omer (Lyn), of Harding’s Point, NB and Rheal, of Calgary, Alberta; daughters, Jacqueline (Norman) Saulnier and Jeannine Thompson, both of Saint John, NB; sister, Lydia Robichaud, of Saint Louis De Kent; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her 4 brothers; 6 sisters and son-in-law, Wayne Thompson. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701) visitation will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Center, following the interment. Donations, in memory of Aline, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
