I am sending a message from my mother Agnes Lamkey, who went to Saint John in 1947 to help babysit the Baird children when she was 17 and Jack was 10 years old. She grew up next door to Teen (Dickson’s) family in Napan, NB. She had a special relationship with Teen and Dan Baird and their children over the years. She remembers Jack’s smile, how he smiled with his eyes and his sweet nature. We send sincere sympathy to Jack’s wife and family and sister Jean and hold you in our prayers at this difficult time. Agnes and Cheryl Lamkey.

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He truly was a remarkable man who was a pleasure to be around. We always enjoyed his visits at Mom and Dad's (Keith and Phyllis Taylor) home in Napan, NB when Jack and Dorothy would park their RV in the yard for a few days. Jack always had interesting tales and had a wonderful sense of humour.
