Obituary of Elsie Dora Trecartin
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Elsie Dora Trecartin on Wednesday November 23, 2022, at the Turnbull Nursing Home, surrounded by her children. Born in Saint John in 1932, Elsie was a daughter of the late Roy and Reta (Allan) Hampton, and widow of the late Colby Smith Trecartin.
Elsie is survived by one brother Fred of B.C; one son Derek Trecartin (Roberta), of Saint John, two daughters; Carolyn Kehl, of Saint John, Gail McLaughlin (Erick), of Saint John, Five Grandchildren, Five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Husband, brother; Roy, sisters; Lois and Helen.
Elsie spent her life in the home, taking care of her family, seeing to their every need. Teaching them respect, honor and love, by her example. Treating all with kindness and fairness.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle funeral home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701). A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 24, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm. A graveside service will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
