Obituary of Scott Allan Nelson
It is with broken hearts that the family of Scott Allan Nelson announce his sudden passing on December 2, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on February 12, 1972, he was the much-loved son of Richard and Ngaire (nee Howard) Nelson.
Scott worked in the Audio-Visual field and travelled extensively through western and northern Canada, as well as Trinidad & Tobago for a G20.
He loved creative tech gadgets and always had a project, or two, on the go. He drove across Canada several times and through parts of Europe. Scott enjoyed hunting and playing guitar. To relax he would go for rides on his motorcycle and spend time with his family and friends.
Scott is survived by his mother Ngaire, sister Susan (Jim) Griffith, brother Donald, aunts Donna (Bill) Godfrey, Marjorie (Bart) Graham, and Lorna (Dennis) Seeley; as well as many cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father Richard.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A visitation for Scott will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a Celebration of Life directly following 11:00 AM. A reception will follow Scott’s service with the family attending a private burial. Donations in Scott’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
