Obituary of Jim Dineen

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of James “Jim” Kenneth Dineen on Thursday January 12, 2023 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge. Born in Saint John, on February 24, 1944, Jim was a son of the late John Leonard and Ella Althea (McCutcheon) Dineen, and husband of Julie Maher.

Jim was in the construction industry for over 50 yrs.

Jim is survived by his wife Julie Maher, of Saint John, one son; Michael (Brenda) Dineen, of Saint John, one daughter; Vicki (Charlie Ramsey) Dineen, of Saint John, brothers; John, Frank, and Dan (Donna), all of Saint John, sisters; Marie (Jim) Gerrior, Shirley Wallace, both of Saint John, and Patsy McDonald, of P.E.I., grandchildren; Brittany and TJ, great-grandson Darius and several nieces and nephews.

Jim is predeceased by his parents, and one sister; Margaret

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701). As per Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place.
