Obituary of Kimberly (Kim) Ann Guthrie
It is with broken hearts that the family of Kimberly Ann Guthrie announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 17, 2023. Born on September 28, 1958, in Saint John, NB to Leamon L. and Lois E. (nee Watters) Guthrie.
Kim worked in the administration department at Sears for over 30 years until their closure. That then lead her to take on the position of Food Demonstrator at Costco and work for CDS Advantage Solutions. She was an animal lover of cats, dogs, and canaries.
Kim is survived by her loving sisters Lynn (Harold) Doyle, Marilyn Flewelling, and Donna Guthrie; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; cousins; cats Cookie and GusGus and her new adopted kittens Daisy and Baby.
She is predeceased by her parents Leamon and Lois, brother Robert Guthrie, sister Brenda LeBlanc, brother-in-law Harvey Flewelling, nephew Dale Clinton, and cats Koko, Patches, Zena, and Cookie.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). In respecting Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. A private family scattering will take place at a later date. Donations in Kim’ memory can be made to the Redhead Strays helping stray cats strut, Diabetes Association, or the charity of your choice.
