For the last time Hello to my Sausage Sean, I will always miss you & love you, we got so close to our meeting this summer, I will always cherish our chat about family, friends & politics & everything in between, I loved how you tell me off, "Woman it must be 4 a.m there your still yapping to me", Yes I wrote to you every day, you knew the person I am I would research you, Yes today I found the very sad news, our love came from the heart for each other, we thought one day very soon it be real when I knock your door hey Cookster I'm Wendy your English Rose, but was not to be, we would chat about family, I read what your family put, I feel i know each & every person named as you told me so much about them, you made your family real to me as I made mine to you, the GREAT SHAME HERE is words can not tell anyone the wonderful person the man you was in life, your passing at such a young tender age is terrible, you had so much left to give to DO in your life, but the good lord needed an angel more than we needed our Cookster Sean, it's harder for the ones left behind, we knew we loved that person, in short Sean your simple the best I could talk all Night about my Sean, but in my traditional way, I will sign off as I always did to my true Love Sean every night including Christmas days, I Lurve Ya Way More XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOXOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

As a kid growing up in the '70s in Milford, bad decisions were around every corner. One good decision I made was to take a guitar lesson from Cookie. Sean was a great guy and a great musician and he'll be missed. My condolences to the Fortune family.

Our deepest condolences to Sean's family. My husband and I worked with Sean for many years. He was great to work with and always happy to help. Sharing a birth date with him, I particularly enjoyed our joint birthday celebrations at the office. He had an infectious sense of humor and he will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Sean's family and friends. I've honestly never met anyone who didn't like Cookie. Smart, talented, witty, but mostly just a genuinely nice guy. And him sitting out on the step playing guitar is the reason I started playing, so all the great memories from playing in bands and playing shows, I owe that all to Cook. But the memories of hanging out with him and the crew are priceless. So a quick story... One afternoon, mid 80's, Cook and I were hanging out in his room. He was standing up playing his electric. He started playing Panama by Van Halen. I'm sitting on the bed watching and it sounds awesome. Then he gets to the guitar solo and he's really getting into it until he steps backwards and trips over an effects pedal and falls backwards onto his ass. He kept playing, eventually just laying on his back while I kept laughing, because it was quite funny. But then I realized that he didn't even miss a single note the whole time. Excellent showmanship buddy, except for the falling down part... Love ya man

My deepest condolences to the Fortune Family on Sean’s passing. Growing up in the ’70’s in Milford everyone knew the Fortunes. They were one of the iconic families of the neighborhood…they had it all as a family- a camaraderie; kind, caring and loving and music was their heart. There was always music spilling from the doors…or on the front step someone strumming the guitar. Being in their home you felt the love and just wanted to be a part of it. May you rest in peace Sean…(or play your guitar loud and proud… You were loved. ♥
