Obituary of George Stevenson

With his family by his side, Charles George Stevenson passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023, at Rocmaura. Born in Saint John, NB on June 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen (nee McGregor) Stevenson.

George will be missed by his loving wife Sandra (nee Blagden) of 58 years; daughter Dawn (Ross) Reid; son Trevor (Pamela) Stevenson; grandsons Jordan (Elodie) and Andrew (Makenzie) Reid, and Hunter (Cassie) and Brody Stevenson; great grandsons Bennett George and Remi Reid; sister Alice Stevenson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Helen and his sister Dorothy.

The Stevenson’s would like to thank the staff at Rocmaura for the excellent care and compassion when looking after George and our family’s needs.

Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701) a visitation for George will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 4, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM.
