Obituary of Deanne Mary Blizzard
Surrounded by her loving family, Deanne Mary (Wallace) Blizzard, wife of David Terry Blizzard, passed on February 3, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, Deanne was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Wallace and Doreen Joyce (Keating) Wallace.
Deanne was exceptionally compassionate and caring to all who came through her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her three granddaughters. She was a woman of faith and a long-time member of St. Rose Parish Church.
Deanne is survived by her husband, David, one daughter, Natasha Savoie, of Saint John, one son; Terry (Danielle) Blizzard, of Saint John, three grandchildren; Brianna Savoie, Emilie Savoie, and Sage Blizzard, three brothers; Charlie (Beth) Wallace, of Saint John, John (Julie) Wallace of Alberta, George (Jane) Wallace, of Saint John, three sisters; Laura (Glen) Hamilton, of Grand Bay-Westfield, Gina Wallace, of Saint John, Dorothy (Art) Shephard, of Saint John, special niece, Ann Hamilton, special nephew, Kevin Mailman,several nephews and nieces, as well as long-time friend Nancy Hoffman.
Deanne is predeceased by her parents and best friend, Gale Mazerolle.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634-1701). Cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Holy Spirit Parish (St. Rose of Lima Church) at 12:00pm. Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www.Castlefh.ca.
