Obituary of Marilyn Ruth Carlin
It is with great sadness the family of Marilyn Ruth Carlin wish to announce her passing on Sunday February 5, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 21, 1944, in Saint John, N.B., Marilyn was a daughter of the late Roland Vernon and Marguerite Theresa (Gallant) Hamilton, and widow of the late Ronald "Delbert" Carlin. Marilyn was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Marilyn is survived by three sons, Dale (Eva)Carlin, of Ontario, Bruce (Melissa) Carlin, of Alberta, Brian Carlin, of Alberta, one daughter, Wendy (Barry) Vincent, of Gagetown, N.B., ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Roland and Marguerite Hamilton, her husband, Delbert Carlin, her granddaughter, Samantha, and ten siblings, Roland, Robert, Charles, Paul, Reginald, Douglas, Eugene, Dorothy, Marguerite, and Joy.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). As per Marilyn’s wishes there will be no visiting or funeral service.
