Obituary of Rick Dashwood

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Dashwood, age 75, at Bobby’s Hospice with family and friends by his side, on June 24, 2023. Rick was born May 22, 1948, in Saint John; was one of three children to George and Madeline Dashwood. Rick Married his wife Pat in 1975, resided in Saint John, 48 years, where they raised two children, Cara, and Ryan.

Rick is predeceased by his parents, and sister, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Blanchette) Dashwood, daughter, Cara, and son, Ryan, three grandchildren, Joshua, Makayla, and Archie, brother, William (Starr) Dashwood.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). A visitation will take place at Castle Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Followed by a Celebration of life at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on Thursday June 29, 2023, at 1:00pm.
