Obituary of Juliette Kingston
It is with broken hearts the family of Marceline Juliette (Michaud) Kingston wish to announce her passing on Friday September 29, 2023, at the Loch Lomond Village Willow House with her family by her side. Born in Edmundston, N.B. on February 19, 1928, Marceline is a daughter of the late Fortunat and Lucienne (St.Onge) Michaud, and widow of the late Ronald Kingston.
Juliette is survived by three daughters, Carol (Ernie) Maber, Janice (Gerard) Crilley, and Sharon Janes (Neal), all of Saint John, six grandchildren, Jim (Katherine) Maber, Tim (Nancy) Maber, all of Quispamsis, Jeff (Jenn) Janes, Carla (Peter) Shea, Greg (Pam) Janes, and Jessica Crilley, all of Saint John, eight great grandchildren, Benjamin Janes, Lauren Maber, William Maber, Audrey Janes, Emily Maber, Molly Maber, Rachael Shea, and Riley Shea, one great great granddaughter, Harper Janes, sister-in-law, Doreen Kingston, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Juliette came to Saint John in 1943 and was a lifelong West Saint John resident. Juliette worked many years at the Dr. Roberts’ Hospital School spent many wonderful summers with her family camping at Harding’s Point and Maine. Juliette loved crafts, travel, square dancing, playing bridge and researching genealogy. She was a devoted member of the St. Rose parish (CWL). She was very involved in her many family’s activities. Juliette is predeceased by her parents, her husband, sister, Lorraine St. Onge, and her brother, Leon Michaud.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5 th ., 2023, at Castle Funeral Home from 2pm to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday October 6, 2023, at 12:00pm at Holy Spirit Parish (St. Rose of Lima Church). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the SJ Alzheimer’s Association or the Loch Lomond Village would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www. Castlefh.ca
The family wishes to thank the staff at Loch Lomond Village for the wonderful care Juliette received, and a extra special thanks to the staff on Willow and Cedar for their exceptional care of Juliette over the past 10 years.
