Obituary of Shirley Joy Bosfet
It is with broken hearts that the family of Shirley Joy Bosfet wish to announce her passing on October 21, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a period of failing health. Born in Saint John, N.B., Shirley is the daughter of the late Gordon and Victoria (Wetmore) Donaldson, and widow of the late James Malcolm Bosfet.
Shirley is survived by three sons; Warren Dean (Kimberly) Bosfet, of Saint John, Bradley James (Paula) Bosfet, of Grand Bay – Westfield, Brian Douglas (Dianne) Bosfet, of Nerepis, two daughters; Brenda (Al) Harrington, of Quispamsis, and Debbie (Chris) Vautour, of Saint John, ten grandchildren; Matthew Bosfet, Melissa Vautour, Chelsey Valis, Kyle Bosfet, Timothy Bosfet, Thomas Bosfet, Alexander Harrington, Benjamin Harrington, Sydney Vautour, and Jacob Vautour, several great grandchildren, brother; Arthur (Vera) Donaldson, of Saint John, sisters; Elizabeth MacDougall, of Fredericton, and Victoria Lynn Hughes, of USA, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents; Gordon and Victoria Donaldson, Her beloved husband; James Malcolm Bosfet, three brothers; Grant Donaldson, William Donaldson, Victor Beers, and one sister; Joan Gray.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634- 1701). Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Castle Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Graveside prayers will take place in Cedar Hill ext. Cemetery at 2:15pm.
