Obituary of Josephine Louise Chase
The family wishes to announce her passing on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Bobby’s Hospice. She was born in Saint John, NB to the late George and Beaulah Chase.
She was a long-term resident of Independence Plus in Milledgeville and a lifetime member of Key Industries.
Josephine is survived by sisters Patricia Barton and June (Mercina) Griffith (Ernest), brothers; David (Mary), Allan Wickens, Mac Wickens (Janet) and Paul Wickens of Hamilton Ontario, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother Norman Wickens (Mary Ann), nephews Michael Barton, and brother-in-law Ken Barton.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506- 634-1701. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, November 14 in Castle Fallsview Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Josephine’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
