Sending my condolences to Cheryl's family. I met Cheryl when she worked for Castle FUneral Home on Leinster Street. I was all of 17. She became my friend. I looked to her like an older sister. We shared laughs, talks, coffee for 3 years when I then moved to Alberta. We had stayed in touch over all these years, with phone calls, cards as well as visits when I went back to Saint John. I was always welcomed into her home to stay. She was a warm and caring person, helpful, kind, and a wonderful smile and laugh. She was my friend, my mothers friend, and she will be missed. May you fly with the Angels.

Cheryl was truly my mother away from home and I am so sad to hear of her passing. She instantly took me under her wing when I first arrived in Saint John, by myself, far away from home and starting a very challenging career. I truly believe I would not have been able to do it without her help. She had such a kind heart and I think of her often, she spoke always of her siblings and nieces and nephews and took great passion in her work. Love you Cheryl and you will be missed!

To the whole family of Cheryl, I am so sorry for our loss of such a wonderful person. Cheryl always loved our travel adventures and along with her sense of humour she made them so much more fun. Cheryl also loved to go out for a meal whether it was our Saturday morning breakfast routine or any evening she was always up for that. She has left me with so many awesome memories, I will dearly miss her.

To Bud ,Ralph ,and all the family: I was very saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing, I have known Cheryl for over 40 years .Over that time we have many a chat and many a laugh. As far as her work she was very good , if i ever needed any thing to do with the business she had the information quickly. She worked with me, for me and with me again. When myself, Gary Waycott and Steven Ritchie bought the Castle in October 1976,the three of us along with Gary Tait ran the busniness and Cheryl ran the office. She was very good at her work.. I liked Cheryl, saw her and talked to her every day for years, Iam deeply saddened R.I. P.Cheryl

Bonnie and Errol, thank you for letting us know of Cheryl's passing and also for helping me surprise her with a real "FaceTime" visit in October! I will never forget the look on her face or the fact that everyone knew about it except her! Still can't believe we pulled it off. Cheryl and I worked "together" over the telephone for 18 years until 2007 and had a few in person visits over the past 16. She was a great host, lots of stories, drove us around Saint John, Hampton, St. Andrews, Calais and some spots off the beaten track, she could have been a tour guide! I will miss her voice when she answered the phone either at work or home. She would always have time for a chat, sometimes a smart aleck remark, or just "oh yeah". We will miss you Cheryl.
