Obituary of Kevin Wayne Belding
It is with broken hearts the family of Kevin Wayne Belding announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Kevin was born on May 12, 1962 in Saint John, NB to the late Clyde and Dorothy Belding.
Kevin will be dearly missed by his wife Ann Little and their daughter Abigail (Abbi) Belding, siblings; Donna McGowan, Nancy Williams, Lynn Lambert (Charlie Kingsley), Rick Belding, Marsha LeBlanc (James), Andrew Belding (Jackie), sister-in-law Elaine Belding, brother-in- law Phillip Melanson, special nephews Jacob Anderson (Melaina) and Nathan Belding (Leah), as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Kevin is predeceased by his siblings; Terry Belding, John ‘Jack’ Belding and Ardith Melanson.
Kevin loved his career, he always said he never worked a day in his life. Fishing was in his blood, passed down from his father. It was something that came naturally, and he loved it.
Kevin had a big heart, he always put others before himself, helping whenever and wherever he could. He was very kind and will be missed by all who knew him. Kevin loved spending time with his girls, Ann, and Abbi. Every Sunday was family day, in the winter he and Abbi would spend the afternoon snowmobiling and in warmer months he enjoyed Sunday drives with Ann. He cherished these moments. Kevin would always take his dogs out for daily drives throughout the community.
The family wishes to thank the Musquash Fire Department and Saint John Ambulance for their care.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in Chance Harbour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Kevin’s name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
