Obituary of Ronald Wallace
With his family by his side, Ronald Wallace passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024, at Shannex – Tucker Hall. Born on May 29, 1938, in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Edna (nee LeBlanc) Wallace.
Ronald was a quiet and hardworking man. He was a loyal employee who worked for Moosehead for 28 years until his retirement. Ronald loved country music, walking down Sawdust Road to the water, and was also charitable to his family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his sisters: Bernice Melanson, Doreen Goguen, and Mary Anne Ackerson; foster brother James (Rose) Wallace; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he is pre-deceased by his brothers-in-laws Roy Melanson, Omer Goguen, and Edward Ackerson; nieces Deborah, Donna, and Brenda; as well as several cousins.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home (506) 634-1701 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John NB. Visiting for Ronald will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Holy Spirit Parish – St. Rose of Lima Worship Site (541 Milford Rd, Saint John, NB) for 12:00 PM. Interment will directly follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with a recpetion taking place after the burial at the Dennis Morris Community Center (330 Green Head Rd, Saint John, NB). Donations in Ronald’s memory can be made to the Dennis Morris Community Centre or the Bruce Melanson Scholarship Fund. For those who wish, online condolences can be made by visiting www.castlefh.ca
