Obituary of Jean Evelyn Steeves

Jean Evelyn Steeves went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Carleton Kirk Lodge surrounded by family. Jean was born on August 14, 1925 in Halifax, NS to the late Douglas Stoddard and Esther (Corkum) (Stoddard) Parrott.

Jean will be dearly missed by her daughter Janice Steeves.

In addition to her parents Jean is predeceased by her husband Wade Steeves, daughter Karen Steeves and brothers Douglas Stoddard and Laverne Stoddard.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with Funeral Service following immediately at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 11:00 AM in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton. Donations in Jean’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
