Obituary of Mary Patricia Jamer
It is with sadness that the family of Mary Patricia Jamer (nee Walter) announces her peaceful passing in her sleep on March 26, 2024. Born in Mitcham, London, on November 20, 1939, Mary was the beloved wife of Donald Jamer, with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Joanne Jamer of Saint John and Stephen Jamer of Grand Bay-Westfield, and a cherished grandmother to Ryan and Devon. Mary also leaves behind her little brother, who she loved and adored more than words can say, David Walter and his wife Yioulla, of London, England.
After raising her children, Mary began her career as a realtor working for many years before retiring from Royal Lepage. Mary had a passion for puzzles, cherished her time spent reading. She also had a love for her flower beds, feeding the birds and squirrels. Mary was proud of her British heritage and had a special admiration for the Queen.
Mary was in the middle of a puzzle when she passed, fully expecting to finish it. Her sudden passing is a reminder that life is unpredictable. She didn't plan on leaving that puzzle unfinished, and it's a lesson for us all to live each day to the fullest. Let Mary's puzzle be a symbol of life's unexpected turns and a reminder to embrace every moment with pride and joy.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). Per Mary's request, there will be no funeral or service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Online condolences can be made at www. Castlefh.ca
