Obituary of Brian Gregory Quinn
It is with great sadness but with wonderful memories that his daughters announce the passing of their father Brian Gregory Quinn, who passed peacefully at Bobby’s Hospice on April 19, 2024. Dad was born on June 5, 1950 in Saint John, NB. He was the youngest son of the late Gregory and Margaret Quinn.
Dad was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Rose Marie Quinn, who was his best friend. Dad never fully recovered after the passing of our mom and it gives us great comfort in knowing that they are back together again. He will always be remembered by his daughters Elizabeth (Ryan) and Heather (Derek). His beloved grandchildren who he loved beyond words Emma, Molly, Gracie, Brady (his bud), Madelyn and Owen. He also survived by his brother Kerry (Isabel) Quinn and sister Mary K. Quinn.
Dad retired from Irving Pulp and Paper in 2004 after having a lengthy and enjoyable career as a System Engineer. Dad was a true blue west sider with many memories and stories to tell, with many great friends and motorcycle adventures. He always enjoyed and looked forward to his visits from his neighbor and friend Allen Russell. Thank you so much for all you have done.
Our Dad was loyal, hardworking and a very straight forward man that was never misunderstood and we all will miss him so very much.
The family wishes to recognize the outstanding care that Dad has received over the years from the Cardiac Care Unit and during his stay at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care and Bobby’s Hospice. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506 634-1701.
In keeping with Dad’s wishes there will be no service at this time. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. For those who wish to make remembrances they may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of the donor’s choice.
*** Now go pile all the wood you can Dad as we know that is what you so wanted to do… Love you Dad ****
