Obituary of Eve Lee
Saddened by the loss but comforted by her memory the family of Evangeline (Eve) C. Lee announce her passing on May 5th at her residence Tucker Hall, Saint John, NB. Eve was the daughter of the late George M. and Catherine J. (Emery) Taylor, and the wife of the late Ronald M. Lee. Eve was born in Nerepis, NB on August 8,1936.
After finishing at Saint John Vocational School, she worked in Saint John before moving to Toronto and then California. After 35 years in California, she and Ron returned to Saint John.
She is survived by her step-son Shawn (Rosanna) Lee of California, sisters Myrtelle Speight, Judith (Kenneth) Galbraith, brother Donald Taylor (Margaret McCully) and, sister-in-law Carole Taylor as well as several nieces, nephews, great and great- great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Eve was pre-deceased by sisters Mary Taylor, Lida Kierstead, Ellen (Duckie) Ryder, Eveline (her twin) Scott and Doris Taylor, her brothers George E. and Alban Taylor and an infant brother as well as her step-son Michael Lee and special friend Lino Pascon.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. A grave side service will be held at Cedar Hill Ext, Cemetery on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2pm.
The family would like to thank all those at Tucker Hall for their care of Eve during her stay there.
