Obituary of Christopher William Leandre Martin

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Christopher William Leandre Martin announce his sudden passing at his residence on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Born on December 7, 1985, Christopher was a son of Theresa (Thibodeau) and Paul Martin.

At a young age Christopher faced many trials, not the least of which: diagnosed with a rare cancer at age 23 and suffered a serious workplace incident from which he never fully recovered at age 32. He lived in constant pain for the last 7 years of his life, trying to battle the pain and the depression he was left with after the accident.

Christopher’s children were his life. His love for his children and his mom knew no bounds. He was the kindest, most loving and giving son and father.

Christopher leaves behind his mom Theresa (Gerry), his dad, brother, Matthew, children; Mariah, Keeley, and Lincoln and the mother of his children, Stephanie LeBlanc as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Christopher was predeceased by his Maternal grandparents; Loretta and Leandre Thibodeau, Paternal grandparents; Alberta and William Martin, and aunt and uncle Martha and Lloyd Halpin.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 24, 2024, at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 11:00am. A reception will be held following the service at Castle Funeral Home.
