Obituary of Linda Mary O'Halloran
Linda Mary O’Halloran passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was born on May 17, 1948, in Saint John, NB to the late Lorenzo and Pauline (Thibodeau) Hachey.
Linda will be dearly missed by her daughter Paula Duplessis (Ryan), her beloved grandsons Logan and Jackson. Her brother William (Rosalia) Hachey and brother-in-law Wallace Llewelyn and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by her husband Stephen A. O’ Halloran, brother Edmond Hachey, and sister Shirley Llewelyn.
Linda cherished the time spent with her grandsons, as they meant the world to her; she loved them "to the moon and back". Linda was an active member of branch #69 Legion where she enjoyed playing darts, and crib. Linda also enjoyed playing Bingo with Paula and her friends. She was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadians fan.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at Bobby’s Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness given to Linda during her stay.
To our extended family and friends who have been on this journey with us this past year, your love and support has been our strength, and we are profoundly grateful to have you in our lives.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 28 at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Assumption Parish. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, with reception at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
