Obituary of Ghislaine Claire Roussel
Ghislaine Claire (Caron) Roussel, A cherished lady known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on Tuesday September 17, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Riviere Bleue, Quebec in 1938, Ghislaine was a daughter of the late Alcide Caron and Egline (Lainey) Caron, and widow of the late Fernand G. Roussel.
Ghislaine is survived by her sister; Therese (Mimi) Cavanaugh, of Trois Riviere, Quebec, several nephews, grand nephews, and grand nieces. She also leaves special friends; Helen LeBlanc, and Lisa and Eric Almon, all of Saint John, and Kim LeBlanc of Ottawa.
Ghislaine was predeceased by her Parents; Alcide and Egline Caron, brothers; Clermont Caron and Yvon Caron.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). As per Ghislaine’s wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Friday October 4, 2024, at Castle Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. A celebration of Ghislaine’s life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 10:00am. A reception will be held at Castle Funeral Home. Private family Interment will take place in St. Augustine’s Cemetery. Donations to the MS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made at www. Castlefh.ca
