Bob,
I was very saddened to hear of Ralph's passing yesterday here in Nassau. I have known Ralph for over 20 Years and always enjoyed our many conversations together. Ralph had a great personality and loved to reach out and help where he could, always energetic and on the move. He was a wealth of knowledge especially when it came to automobiles. You should be very proud of your father. It was my pleasure to have worked a bit with him.
Please accept my condolences. John Stears.

To Rose, Mike (Sue), Bobby (Maureen) and family deepest sympathy. Never have I known a more upbeat person than Ralph. No task couldn't be done, no problem couldn't be fixed when Ralph was brought into the picture. First met Ralph about 65 years ago when he would come down from his garage in Grand Bay to boost my Dad's car in the freezing winter so we could go into town. When you called Ralph for help he was at your door before you hung up. He was a fellow of high integrity, everyone became his friend and he always remembered you......we will never forget him. He and his family are in our prayers at this most difficult time.

Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. My condolences to Rose and the extended family. I have known Ralph for several decades and he was always so personable, willing to help, full of energy, and would give you the shirt off his back if need be. He was also a strong man of faith. In recent years Ralph and Rose were great neighbors at Hillcrest Village. If you wanted to find a good used car deal, Ralph would search until he found one. My prayers are for peace and comfort for Rose and her family for the difficult days ahead.

Uncle Piker was a compassionate, hard-working man. He was a true humanitarian to all. Every time you encountered him, it would involve a hug. I remember that feeling and I think that’s why I am a hugger also. I will always remember when I was nine and he arrived on a snowy November day in a moving truck to our house in Toronto and thru a snowstorm moved us into their house on Woolastook Road until we got our own place. So many great memories with the Ervin’s. During the Groundhog Gale, we all spent in the living room with the fireplace going for warmth. Lots of fun times at the camp also.Piker taught us how to swim then when we made it to the raft, he showed us how to dive . So many happy memories thanks to Uncle Ralph. He also helped Rosie and Mom take care of my dad till his passing over 20 years ago during that time, he also took care of us. “Charlie” will always be thankful for that . He was an Angel on Earth and now he can return home to Heaven. Love to you all

My Uncle Ralph recently found this photo of us and gave it back to me. He wanted me to have it to remind us how much fun we had with Aunt Rose & him when they came out to Cold Lake, Alberta to spend time with us many moons ago. My Uncle Ralph and Aunt Rose were so thoughtful to me in so many ways. He was instrumental in making a positive impact on my life as a 10 year old kid right up to today.
He was like that with everyone, and anyone who knew him had a story not far from mine, on how he helped them out, got them a car, fixed there car, dropped off food, and the list goes on. Uncle may be gone, but he will never be forgotten, and he will be missed by so many who loved him.
