Obituary of Peter Charles Magee
It is with broken hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of Peter Charles Magee on Friday October 25, 2024, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born in Saint John, Peter was a son of Rudolph and Beth (Wheaton) Magee.
Peter is survived by his parents; Rudolph (Chubby) and Beth, sister Lori of Rothesay, brothers Bruce (Rhonda) Magee, and Brian Magee, both of Saint John, two aunts; Anne (Harvey) Miller, and Sandra (the late Chelsey) Wheaton, and uncle, Rick (Laura) Wheaton.
Peter was predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Ivy and Amy Magee, and maternal grandparents; Frank “Chesley” Wheaton and Dorothy Wheaton.
Peter enjoyed playing hockey as a youth. He worked at various jobs throughout his life and had a special gift for motor mechanics. He thoroughly enjoyed tinkering with his truck. Peter enjoyed his visits to his family’s cottage in Utopia and he enjoyed cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). As per Peter’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held in the Church of the Good Shepherd Cemetery on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 1:30pm. Online condolences can be made at www.
