I'm truly saddened to hear about Carl's death. It was only late last week that he and I spent half an hour chatting in the West Side Mall. We reminisced about our younger years and the good times we enjoyed and about all of our friends who are now scattered all over the planet. He seemingly enjoyed those moments, but little did I realize I'd be sharing condolences when I bid him a final goodbye. Carl was a steadfast friend who will be missed by me and many others, I'm sure.
