Obituary of Carol Whittaker
Mrs. Carol Whittaker passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, October 11, 2013. Her constant smile, through all that she faced was a real inspiration to many. She was born to Viola (McLeod) and the late Glendon Oliver on August 29, 1946. She was the loving wife of Ronald Arthur Whittaker. Carol spent her time as a loving mother and house wife. Carol is survived by her Mother Viola (McLeod) Oliver; Husband, Ronald Whittaker; son Jason (Dana) Whittaker of Edmonton Alberta; daughters Stacey (Steven) Shelley of Alabama, and Jennifer (Peter) Mills of Ottawa; brothers Keith (Linda) Oliver of Grand Bay, and Glendon (Cecile) Oliver of Jemseg; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John NB E2M 2L3. Visitation will take place Sunday October 13 2013, from 6-8pm, and Monday October 14, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 15 2013, from Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 11am. Interment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery following the service. A reception will follow interment at the Castle “Fallsview” Reception Center. Donations to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
