Obituary of Lois Olive Lutton
In appreciation for a life well lived, the family of Lois Olive Lutton announce her peaceful passing on December 31, 2022, at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born on April 11, 1924, in Saint John, NB, she is the daughter of James and Elizabeth (nee Griffiths) Lutton.
Lois was a strong and independent woman with a big heart. She was good-natured, fun, loving, and caring. Shortly after graduating from high school Lois completed her education in Business Management and worked for the City of Saint John, in the Common clerk’s office, for over 30 years. Lois was immensely proud of her work at the City of Saint John. She worked hard so she could travel the world visiting Europe 7 times and travelling frequently to the United States.
The last of the Lutton Family, Lois will be missed by her cousins: Elizabeth, Kenney (Lynn), David (Erika) of Saint John and Stephen (Kim) Parks of Ottawa, Jan (Brian) Thompson of Fredericton, and Lindy (Bob) McCullough of Florida; David (Masako)and Stephen (Sue) Heggie of England; Margaret (Tim) Trublowski of Michigan; and Barbara Trcka of Ohio.
Lois is predeceased by her parents and many cousins.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation for Lois will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 1:00 -2:00 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held at Castle Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00pm. Lois will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Extension in the spring of 2023. Donations in Lois’s memory can be made to the Charity of choice.
