My condolences to Nancy and the family. Fearon was a dedicated Knight of Columbus who showed charity, fraternity and generosity to those who encountered him. As pastor, I am especially grateful to Fearon who, over the years in his role as Grand Knight, oversaw several generous donations towards the French Catholic church in Saint John, St. François de Sales. The Knights of Council 17984 and Fearon are to be commended for such timely gifts of support and remembered with esteem. Just a few weeks ago, Fearon oversaw my advancement in the Knights of Columbus. As chair of that meeting, he was gracious, straightforward and no fluff! I pray those who deeply mourn find solace in Jesus' mercy. May Fearon rest in the peace and light of Our Lord. - Father Aaron Knox

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Fearon for many years at NBCC and enjoyed many a coffee and great conversations with him. He was certainly not one to brag about his accomplishments which explains why I only learned of some of them by reading what was written here. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

On behalf of all members of the Regimental Family, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Colonel Fearon Currie. I met Fearon through the Gunner family and worked with him briefly when he was an instructor at the Canadian Army Command and Staff College in Kingston. A proud gunner, Fearon had the high standards of all NB Gunners that started with himself. I know that many in The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, in the Loyal Company and across Canada, will share fond memories of Fearon as they recall their shared dedication to the defence of our nation. Ubique.

It was a shock to hear of Fearon's passing and our prayers are for Nancy and their family knowing that there is much strength and love to help them during this period of grief. Fearon and Nany have many friends throughout the province and we certainly appreciate the phone call they recently made to check on our state of health. During his years of teaching at Hartland High School Fearon had a great relationship with his students and made the process of teaching students fun and worthwhile. His versatility at other professions certainly shows his love for life and a fulfilling "journey". He will certainly be missed but there is joy knowing he will be well received in heaven. Such a sad moment when I read of Fearon's passing. Fearon hired me to work in his department at NBCC way back in 1990 and I always enjoyed his company. I remember those years with fondness and a chuckle - his smile and sense of humor made him a really good guy and running into Fearon at Sobey's after retirement was always welcome. I still keep my eye open for him in the cashier's line up. My condolences to his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing
